Bombing: A Treatise on Interview Techniques
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
Episode Five – Before You Graduate and Casual Interviews
Things To Do Before You Graduate
- Look up median/average salary of your chosen profession (google)
- Nab up your own Gmail address (Firstname.LastName@gmail.com)
- Have your resume reviewed by a career counselor
- Go out and buy some interview clothes
- Compile an online portfolio amazing things you did.
Tiffany in Colorado asked: How do I "Dress Casual" for an interview?
- Make sure to shower.
- Button up shirt is still a good idea, even if it is just an overshirt.
- Layers are good, originality is good.
- Pants: no shorts, tank tops or spaghetti strings.
- Piercings okay, tattoos, depends on the tattoo.
- No mention of the Prince - (unless you're interviewing to become a porn star).
