Why Internships Are Important

Episode Five – Before You Graduate and Casual Interviews

Things To Do Before You Graduate - Look up median/average salary of your chosen profession (google) - Nab up your own Gmail address (Firstname.LastName@gmail.com) - Have your resume reviewed by a career counselor - Go out and buy some interview clothes - Compile an online portfolio amazing things you did. Tiffany in Colorado asked: How do I "Dress Casual" for an interview? - Make sure to shower. - Button up shirt is still a good idea, even if it is just an overshirt. - Layers are good, originality is good. - Pants: no shorts, tank tops or spaghetti strings. - Piercings okay, tattoos, depends on the tattoo. - No mention of the Prince - (unless you're interviewing to become a porn star). Featured Again!

I was featured again, but this time in the form of an interview. My favorite quote (from me, of course!): “If our generation has a mantra, it’s just to live our lives and let history pass its own judgment. We’ll have blogged the truth about it anyway.”
