It’s memorial day. A day that many of us Millennials might think of as just another day off. But for those of our generation, and all those who came before, it can and should hold a special significance. As our friends, neighbors, and family members go off to fight, we can’t afford for Memorial Day to be just another holiday. It’s a day to remember those lost fighting in service of this great union, but more than that – to reflect on why those lives were taken from them. I think the person who put it best is Andy Rooney.
